Onyx Signs Inc. was founded in 2020 by Remi Petitpas, a passionate graphic designer and entrepreneur originally from Haute-Aboujagane, New Brunswick. After graduating from Louis-J.-Robichaud High School (LJR) in 2012, Remi pursued his interest in design at CCNB, where he studied graphic design and developed the skills that would shape his career. Following several years of experience working in the sign industry, Remi decided to follow his dream and start his own business. What began as a one-person operation quickly grew into a thriving local company. Today, Onyx Signs Inc. is proudly based in Cocagne, New Brunswick and has expanded to a team of three dedicated members. Remi leads the company as owner and designer, supported by Chelsea, the administrative assistant who keeps everything running smoothly, and Mathieu, the team’s versatile “man of all,” helping bring projects to life. At Onyx Signs Inc., we take pride in helping businesses stand out with high-quality signage and creative design. Since starting the company, Remi has never looked back—continuing to enjoy every minute of building a business centered around creativity, craftsmanship, and serving the local community.
